The Peyton Place of Milner, Georgia, has come to life.

Even Matt Dillon of Dodge City in the 1860s had about five deputies to monitor the raunchy people of his fast-growing town; Milner, Georgia, had fewer in 2026 before they all quit on the same day.

On Wednesday, October 28, Police Chief Lamar Bunn of the Milner Police Department resigned, followed by his five deputies.

Milner’s mayor, Craig Timmons, who believes he was the president of the Harper Valley PTA, secretly placed a tracking device on Chief Bunn’s vehicle.

Mayor Craig wanted to know if the rumors were true that Chief Bunn was sacking Milner’s city manager, Tausha Grose, in the Bunn.

So the good ol’ Harper Valley Mayor Timmons attached a GPS tracking device on the chief’s buns.

In the town of Milner, they call it pinning a tail on the donkey.

Come to find out, Chief Bunn’s GPS tracking device showed him at city manager Tausha Grose’s house more times than the mayor thought a moonshiner should be at the local pub.

Without any solid evidence, the mayor concluded it was grouse that Chief Bunn gets to cuff Grouse and manhandle Grouse’s Double Ds.

It appears Mayor Timmons wanted to grab City Manager Tausha Tushie/Bunn instead of staying home with his one-tooth wife drinking moonshine. Boring!

The Heat of the Night in that household died one day after the mayor’s honeymoon.
Harriet DeLong and Archie Bunker (Chief Gillespie) couldn’t do anything to bring that back to life.
Infuriated by Mayor Craig Timmons’ Harper Valley mentality, the head Bunn master quit at a town hall meeting.
Followed by City Manager Tausha Grouse, the five full-time deputies, and four part-time volunteers.
Chief Lamar Bunn has denied having an affair with City Manager Grouse. That is my lie, and I’m sticking with it.
That is what happens when you let government start peeping into residents’ bedrooms.
Apparently the chief didn’t mind Flock cameras until they were looking into his bedroom.
It’s never as much fun to the hunter when the Rabbit gets a hold of the gun.

Milner, Georgia, a one-horse town, had its entire police department quit.

And nope, Tausha isn’t Black; she’s white. If her name were LaTausha, that is the Black version.

With a name like Timmons, Mayor Craig Timmons could definitely get a job at the NYPD busting up Blacks and Latinos, instead of being a fly on the wall in Mr. Bunn’s bedroom and spying on Tausha Grouse sugar walls.

The City of Milner has fewer than 1,000 residents.

Most residents and visitors complain that Milner cops only write traffic tickets to raise revenue and secure their paychecks.

Meanwhile, the local Sheriff’s Department has taken over law enforcement duties in Peyton Place, Georgia, also known as Milner City.
