Amidst a brewing controversy over his analysis of the shooting of Turning Point USA’s co-founder, Charlie Kirk, NBC News has parted ways with analyst Matthew Dowd. The controversy over a controversial podcaster that caused a DEI hire, Becky Kutler, to fire Matthew Dowd, highlights Becky’s political views and leanings.

This decision prompts us, the audience, to question its fairness and implications, highlighting our role in the ongoing discourse about media ethics and free speech.
Whether it was right or wrong, firing Matthew Dowd was NBC’s decision to make, but it raises important questions about the fairness and balance in such decisions.

This decision raises questions about the limits of free speech in the media and the responsibility of news organizations to uphold the First Amendment.

In a race, the person who appears on top or appears to be winning always thinks that all of their choices are correct. The renowned NBC News network, which operates under the First Amendment of the Constitution, is at risk of losing its hard-earned credibility — a loss that would have a significant impact on the media landscape.

The decision to fire Dowd, rather than considering a suspension, could have a significant impact on the network’s credibility and also on the broader debate about media ethics and free speech.

NBC News’ Rebecca Kutler Known  For Killing The Messengers Fires Analyst Matt Dowd Over His Analysis of Charlie Kirk’s Message.

Matt Dowd, a former Republican, perhaps could be considered insensitive by some people because he made the comments soon after the shooting of Charlie Kirk. Dowd’s remarks, which some found offensive, were: ‘You can’t stop with these sorts of awful thoughts you have and then saying these awful words and then not expect awful actions to take place.’

Matthew Dowd, a one-time nominee for the News & Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Coverage of a Current News Story – Long Form, is known for his concise analyses of current events.

Matthew Dowd’s Statement And Apology.

MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler forced Dowd to apologize, which he did. Kutler also apologized for his comments. Shortly after Charlie Kirk was shot, Dowd stated, “You can’t stop with these sorts of awful thoughts you have and then saying these awful words and then not expect awful actions to take place.”
Within minutes, after his statement, NBC’s Becky Kutler moved to silence Dowd. Becky Kutler has a reputation for silencing the voices of anyone who speaks words with which she disagrees. She fired Joy Reid and threatened to fire all the Muslim voices on MSNBC. She manages by fear and intimidation.

Malcolm X Comments On President Kennedy’s Assassination.

Charlie Kirk himself was a conservative firebrand, and some say he was not only a Second Amendment activist but also a First Amendment rights activist. In 1963, when they killed President John F. Kennedy, a president beloved by millions of Americans, Minister Elijah Muhammad ordered his members not to talk about Kennedy’s death publicly. The minister’s followers complied with Muhammad’s directive. One day, Malcolm X was taking questions from reporters — a similar approach to what Charlie Kirk employed on September 10.

“The chickens are coming home to roost.”

A reporter in the audience asked Malcolm X, ‘What do you think about the killing of President Kennedy?’ Malcolm responded by saying. “Being an old farm boy myself, chickens coming home to roost never did make me sad; they’ve always made me glad”. X’s comment set off a firestorm in the white media.
To satisfy the media’s lust for blood, Elijah Muhammad placed Malcolm on suspension. The Nation of Islam did not fire Mr. X. NBC’s cowardly move to fire Matthew Dowd proved that its business model isn’t rooted in the First Amendment, but fear, intimidation, and retribution on behalf of satanic forces.

Soon after Kirk’s death, the echo chambers of the right and left became filled with who was to blame. The left said those Second Amendment activists were to blame.
The right said the cancel culture anti-first amendment activists killed Kirk. There are even some who said Charlie Kirk caused his own death with his words. Calls by Fox News hosts for some whites on social media for ‘Civil War’ and attacks upon Black Americans grew louder.

Aside from Becky’s disdain for rightness, her cohorts, on social media, are calling for President Trump to declare a civil war, “So we can go house to house and start killing Black people.” Regardless of who shot and killed Charlie Kirk.

“A free and democratic society, which is what America is supposed to be about, depends upon the basic premise that people can speak out, organize, and take part in public life without fear.”
Without worrying that they might be killed, injured, or humiliated for expressing their political views.
In fact, that is the essence of what freedom is about and what democracy is about. You have a point of view. That’s great. I have a different perspective, which is excellent. Let’s argue it out. — Sen Bernie Sanders.
