Authorities in Saint Louis have arrested a family of four who left a zoo on Saturday, September 19th, then got into a minor fender bender with another vehicle driven by 63-year-old Lance Jefferies.
After the accident, the family of four bolted from their car, a 2013 Ford Escapee, in a stampede-like manner and viciously trampled the 63-year-old Jefferies, who ‘accidentally’ ran into the back of their Ford Escapee.
After the arrest, police did not say whether the family of four escaped from the zoo or were short-term visitors.
After an investigation, St. Louis County police rounded up Mary Moore, 26, Davion Alfred, 30, Tamara Logan, 48, and Martinez Logan, 25, and took them into custody on Wednesday, September 23rd.
Saint Louis County authorities have remained tight-lipped about the four’s whereabouts since their apprehension.

Some residents have gone to the zoo to see whether police returned them or caged them elsewhere.
Prosecutors have charged the four wild ones each with second-degree robbery, third-degree assault, and second-degree burglary.
The charges underscore the seriousness of the wild ones’ actions.
During the attack, Lance Jeffries blacked out, at which time they stole his wallet, went into his car, and stole bags of Goodwill items.

St. Louis County officials said the wild one left the zoo and was heading northbound, and while “waiting to make a left turn when a 2025 Chrysler Caravan driven by Lance Jefferies rear-ended them.
According to court records, a bystander recorded them beating, kicking, and stomping Jefferies while he was on the ground, who had gotten out of his vehicle to check on them.
The brutal assault that followed quickly spread on social media; a local news station tracked down the wild ones, who then apologized for the savage attack on Jefferies, who was hospitalized.
According to police, 30-year-old Davion Alfred repeatedly punched Jefferies in his head until he fell to the ground.
Moore kicked him with several body blows while he was lying on the ground.
And Martinez Logan dragged him like a discarded rag doll, police said.
Zoo officials did not announce a BOLO to the public when the wild ones bolted from the zoo; therefore, the public was not aware of the dangers lurking in the neighborhood.
