Super Bowl LVI: Rookie vs. Veteran, The Vet Won.

The third time almost proved to be a charm for the Cincinnati Bengals. It was a longshot for the team that lost the Super Bowl in 1982 to San Francisco 49ers and in 1989 to the San Francisco 49ers a second time. But like the little steam engine that keeps saying, “I think I can,” they kept pushing through and through for forty years since their first appearance and thirty-three years since they last played at a Super Bowl until finally, they made it over the hill to Super Bowl LVI. But it just wasn’t meant to be this year.

What a glorious night it is for the Cincinnati Bengals and their 6′ 4″ twenty-five-years old QB Joe Burrow who wasn’t even born the last time the Bengals went to the Super Bowl. Twenty-five-year-old Burrow is the recipient of the 2020 Heisman Trophy. He played for The Ohio State University (2015–2017), where he graduated in three years with a degree in consumer and family financial services. When Dwayne Haskins was named starting quarterback at Ohio State, Burrow transferred to Louisiana State University (LSU) on May 20, 2018.

By the time the Half-Time Show rolled around, the L.A. Rams had the Bengals at 13 to 10, but the game was not over.
The Halftime show featured veteran mega entertainers: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, and Eminem.
The Halftime Show started at 8:09 p.m. and ran for fourteen minutes of solid rocking fun. It went by in a blur. By the time the Halftime show was over, it felt like they performed for 3 to 4 minutes instead of fourteen minutes. Amazing.

Less than a minute into the second half of the game, the Bengals take the lead over the Rams by four points — 13 to 17—the Los Angeles Rams quarterback NFL 12-year veteran Matthew Stafford. With less than two minutes to go in the game, a Ref who it looks like he has been bought and paid for penalized the Bengals. That call put the L.A. Rams in the lead to take the win.

A deputy sheriff with twenty-three-years of service, Ronald Thurston, is out of a job after refusing to acknowledge that his take-down of a menace to society (22-year-old Isaiah Darcisse) was out of line with his Department’s policies and guidelines for the apprehension and subjugation of his arrestees. Darcisse was under investigation for assault when he contacted Thurston. 

On April 2020, during a criminal investigation, in a North Lauderdale Neighborhood, BSO Deputy Ronald Thruston contacted Isaiah Darcisse. Darcisse armed himself with a gun. As Deputy Thurston continued his investigation, Darcisse physically resisted Thurston, and a struggle ensued between the men; Deputy Thurston beat Darcisse to the draw. At that point, Darcisse complied with Thurston’s commands and placed his body on the ground. Back-up deputies arrived at the location, and they took Darcisse into custody.

22-year-old Isaiah Darcissé struggled with Deputy Thurston, while carrying a loaded gun in his pocket.

During the altercation between Thurston and Darcisse, Thurston puts his knee on Darcisse’s neck, making him uncomfortable. While Darcisse was handcuffed, Thurston used the side of his right to cuff him in his head.
Internal Affairs carried out an investigation into the incident and turned over their findings to the office of the State Attorney — they refused to file charges against Thurston.

Sheriff Greg Tony ended Deputy Thurston’s career based on his statement. Tony found disturbing comments Thurston made to his superiors at a counseling session. “When asked if he could do things differently in the future, Thurston said, ‘I probably would have killed him right there, and we wouldn’t be sitting here talking about it.'”

Over his twenty-three-year career, Deputy Ronald Thurston has had seventeen complaints filed against him. Thurston was exonerated, or they deemed the charges unfounded eight times out of the seventeen complaints lodged against him. Thurston racked up thirteen days of suspension without pay. Thurston’s supporters claim he’s punished because he has raised concerns about a lack of diversity within the Department.

TMZ is reporting that in a February 4, letter Wells Fargo advised the court that it has “several million dollars” of Williams’ funds that they had frozen after Williams’ former financial advisor Lori Schiller claimed the star “was of unsound mind.” Lori Schiller’s claims of the talk show host being of an unsound mind came after Wendy fired her as her financial advisor.

After Wells Fargo froze Ms. Williams’ account, she went to court and, through her attorney, asked a judge to unfreeze her accounts so she could gain access to her money. According to People Magazine, Williams says in her filings that she fired Schiller as “her financial advisor because of Schiller’s malfeasance concerning [Williams’s accounts and Schiller’s improper conduct concerning their professional relationship.” She says Wells Fargo wrongfully “continues to rely on Schiller’s advisement as support for its decision to deny [Williams] access to her financial assets and statements.”

While they know Wells Fargo Bank for defrauding millions of its customers by opening millions of checking and savings accounts in their names. The federal government has fined the bank hundreds of millions of dollars, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, made it pay over $2.7 billion in civil and criminal settlements in late 2018. Is it still possible that Wendy is being exploited by hangers’ on — her entourage, in this case, and not by Wells Fargo? Yes. Clearly there is something strange going on with Ms. Williams. Flores alleges that a team owner (Steven Ross) and the NFL organizations set up sham interviews to cover fraud and discriminatory practices during their hiring process.

The School Board of Broward County hired Dr. Vickie Cartwright temporarily under the auspices to not seek the permanent position when it becomes open permanently per contract. On Wednesday, after carrying out several sham interviews and grand public charades, eight of nine Commissioners told 28,000 school employees they could tear up contracts at will and throw them in the toilet as they please.

A statement issued by Anna Fusco Broward Teachers Union President: reads in part, “The Broward Teachers Union has supported Dr. Cartwright’s candidacy since she announced her intention to seek the permanent position.” Did Anna Fusco make her support, for Cartwright, known to the other candidates that she was fighting against them and her disdain for public contracts?

It is statements like those that make the School Board members and Teachers Union president look like scam artists and con artists. Once they disregard one contract, now they have a green light to discard the letter and spirit of other agreements they have forged with the 28,000 other staff members. The appearance is one that Ms. Cartwright is bought and paid for.

According to a grand jury assembled by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Broward Schools outgoing Superintendent (Robert Runcie) leaves under a cloud of corruption. On August 02, 2021, Ms. Cartwright took the reins from Runcie.

Today, in an 8 to 1 vote, the board affirmed Dr. Vickie Cartwright as the new Superintendent of Schools. Board Member Lori Alhadeff voted against the ploy. Alhadeff said she thought finalist retired Air Force colonel Michael Gaal would make a better leader. Now on the heels of the Dolphins’ Brian Flores lawsuit alleging sham interviews (filed on February 01,) here comes another interview process screaming SHAM, FROTH.

The CDC Now Warns Against Travel to Mexico and Other Tourist Hot Spots.

While COVID-19 is still ravaging its way through much of the U.S., the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also warns Americans against traveling to other countries also suffering from high caseloads of the virus. The latest advisory from the government agency now lists Mexico as a country that Americans should avoid.

The CDC classifies countries on a scale, with Level 4 representing the highest warning level. Currently, the agency has placed Mexico on its Level 4 destination list, meaning there is a “very high” level of COVID-19 transmission.

Mexico has always been a favorite vacation spot among American travelers but grew popular during the pandemic. The country kept its doors open with few entry requirements, while other nations shut Americans out. Although the CDC advises against all unnecessary travel to Mexico, the agency has also recommended that travelers be “up to date with [their] COVID-19 vaccines. Before they travel” if they decide to make the trip to Mexico or anywhere else internationally.

Mexico is not alone on the Level 4 warning list. Other destinations classified with the CDC’s highest warning level include Anguilla, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, French Guiana, Kosovo, Moldova, Paraguay, Saint Vincent, the Grenadines, Singapore, and the Philippines. Tourist hot spots such as Canada, Aruba, Spain, Italy, and France are also on the list. 

There are 128 destinations classified as a Level 4 risk, meaning they each report over 500 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people over the last 28 days. Though the CDC is warning against travel to several countries, the U.S. still ranks highest of new infections and deaths per day, according to Reuters’ global COVID-19 tracker. 

These warnings also come as more countries are opening to tourists in coming months, including the Philippines (starting Feb. 10), Morocco (Feb. 7), and perhaps even Australia, as hinted by one of the country’s government officials.

Nine seconds after entering his place of refuge for the night, police shot and killed Locke.

Nine seconds to kill Amir is seven seconds over 12-year-old Tamir Rice was to live after two Cleaveland cops rolled upon him in a park playing with a BB air gun. There was snow on the ground on that snowy November day of 2014. Two seconds after the Gung ho cops pulled up to Rice, they mingled his blood with the snow.

November 22, the day the bullet of an assassin found its way into the head of President John F. Kennedy.

A twenty-six-year-old Cleveland police officer Timothy Loehmann shot Tamir Rice just two seconds after spying him holding the BB Gun. A previous police department that recruited him deemed Loehmann a certified lunatic and emotional basket case unfit for duty. They booted Loehmann from their police department. He wasn’t able to distinguish between fantasy and reality.

At this stage of sleep, the subject can hardly distinguish between dream and reality. MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO)–Two sources confirm to WCCO-TV that Judge Peter Cahill, who presided over the Derek Chauvin trial, signed off on the “no-knock” search warrant that ended in the fatal police shooting of Amir Locke on Wednesday morning.

The original search warrants remain sealed as they are part of an active homicide investigation, St. Paul police said on Friday evening.

Then another co-host, Joy Behar, asked Ms. Whoopi Goldberg if (the Holocaust) was not about race, then what was it? The sixty-six-year-old Goldberg, who believed that she is really a Goldberg, doubled down. “The Holocaust was not about race; she continues, it was about man’s inhumanity to man.” According to The Jewish Chronicle, Goldberg spoke at a charity event in 2016 about being Jewish. “I just know I am Jewish,” she said.

Immediately, Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the (Anti Defamation League) ADL, labeled Whoopi (Caryn Johnson) as dangerous. He tweeted, “They dehumanized them (the Jews) and used this racist propaganda to justify slaughtering 6 million Jews. Holocaust distortion is dangerous.”

After her comments, Whoopi went on the Chitlin Circuit to apologize and seek forgiveness. She needs Jesus. “Now, words matter, and mine are no exception. I regret my comments, as I said, and I stand corrected. I also stand with the Jewish people as they know, and y’all know because I’ve always done that,” Whoopi said.

Cardi B is not without her controversies: The Rapper, who has promoted a music video set that some people view as pornographic debauchery set to music, has admitted to having drugged men and robbing them. She was called out on her past crimes of drugging and stealing from men who willingly came with her to hotel rooms for sexual intercourse. She had an excellent excuse for her crimes; she said, “I made the choices that I did at the time because I had minimal options.”
