Several Cruise Lines Are Requiring Vaccinations For Kids—Here’s What You Need to Know.

When COVID-19 vaccines became widely available for adults, several cruise lines changed their safety policies to include vaccine mandates for crew members and adult passengers. Now that the FDA has approved COVID-19 vaccines for children as young as five-years-old, cruise companies have reevaluated their policies yet again, with several lines updating their safety protocol to require vaccines for their younger passengers as well.

If you’re planning a family cruise with children soon, here are the policies to keep in mind from some of the most famous and most family-friendly cruise lines in the industry.

Carnival Cruise Line

Now through March 31, 2022, anyone aged 12 and older must be fully vaccinated to sail with Carnival Cruise Line. They must show proof of vaccination before embarkation in an original vaccine card or a digital version from an official source. A few unvaccinated children under the age of 12 may sail as long as they provide proof of a negative COVID test taken before sailing. See Carnivals Have Fun. Be Safe. policies for additional information.

Disney Cruise Line

Some already required all passengers above the age of 12 to be fully vaccinated to sail aboard Disney Cruise Line. Starting January 13, 2022, Disney Cruise Line lowered that threshold to five years old. Proof of vaccination will be required before embarkation, and they will require COVID testing on departure day for passengers under the age of five.

Read Disney Cruise Line’s Know Before You Sail section to learn more.

Before sailing on the Norwegian Cruise Line, all passengers must be fully vaccinated, regardless of their age. That means it effectively banned children under the age of five from this cruise company for the time being as they are not currently eligible for vaccination. They will implement this rule until at least January 16, 2022.

Royal Caribbean Cruise International

Royal Caribbean is one of the most family-friendly cruise lines on the high seas and has taken a more relaxed approach to its vaccine policy compared to other lines. Currently, everyone over 12 years old must be fully vaccinated to sail. Children between the ages of five and 11 don’t have to be vaccinated, but it will subject them to pre-cruise COVID testing before embarkation. However, children who present proof of complete vaccination may partake in Royal Caribbean’s vaccinated onboard experience. We reserve certain areas of each Royal Caribbean ship for vaccinated passengers. They will also not offer select services to unvaccinated passengers.

The cruise lines outlined above are not the only ones to include vaccine mandates for adults and children. They always encouraged travelers to double-check the policies of individual companies before purchasing or sailing on a cruise.

Clarence Avant: The Black Godfather of Hollywood, Mystery Surrounds the Killing of his Wife.

A Patsy In Custody?

Aariel Maynor: If Proved He is The Killer Of Ms. Avant, First Amputate His Leg, Then Turn His W/C Into Old Sparky

Clarence Avant is 90-years-old — eighty-one-year-old Jacqueline, his wife of 54 years, is dead. They killed her in what Hollywood (CA) police call a home invasion. Mr. Avant is an entertainment business mogul and music industry legend. Mr. Avant, the former CEO of Motown Records, is a man with a somewhat small physical stature but a prominent consequential personality and a spirit that fills any room he enters. Mr. Avant had a master key to doors that sometimes slammed shut in the faces of many entertainment dreamers. Clarence would open those doors to those who dream of fame and fortune.

Clarence Avant has been opening doors in the world of Hollywood for Black sports figures and entertainers for decades. He contributed to fulfilling the dreams of some of the biggest stars. Stars that have brought laughter and joy to the hearts of many people across the globe.

According to Hollywood Police, on 12/01/2021, at about 2:30 am, a 29-year-old savage named Ariel Maynor entered, without invitation or permission, one of the most sacred places of a family — their home. While roaming inside the house, Mrs. Avant startled the savage, at which time he shot her in her abdomen. EMS took her to a nearby hospital, where she died.

Reports are floating around that the security guard hired to monitor the Avant’s residence “was patrolling the front of the house, and the suspect appears to have entered from the side yard.” They’re saying, “The guard heard a gunshot from inside, raced over, and then the suspect fired at him too … before fleeing the scene.” One hour after the alleged Avant’s home invasion occurred, police responded to another burglary in the same Hollywood Hills neighborhood.

They discovered Ariel Maynor suffering from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound to his right foot caused by an AR-15 style weapon. Maynor is in custody and transported to a hospital. Ariel Maynor, the alleged shooter, will have surgery on his foot Wednesday; perhaps they should get President Biden to operate on him — that should be a success? They arraigned Maynor in court today (December 07, 2021) and charged with the murder of Mrs. Jackie Avant, attempted murder, a felony with a firearm as well as two counts of residential burglary with a person present.

Mrs. Jacqueline Avant was a philanthropist and actively supported several local and national civic causes. Reportedly, Jackie had a net worth of six million dollars, while her husband Clarence is worth about fifty ($50) million dollars. Aside from her husband Clarence and a host of grieving family members, Mrs. Avant survivors are her daughter Nicole Avant and her son Alexander Devoe Avant.

In 2019 Nicole produced a Netflix documentary based upon her dad Clarence’s role in developing myriads of Hollywood elites. She entitled the documentary “The Black Godfather.”

President Biden Implements New Regulations Requiring All Travelers to the U.S. to Test for COVID-19 Within 24 Hour.

Countries worldwide are reevaluating their travel regulations amid the rise in the cases of the new Omicron variant of COVID-19. On December 2, a day after they detected the Omicron variant in the U.S., President Joe Biden announced stricter rules for all travelers regardless of vaccination status.

Effective as of December 6, all international travelers and U.S. citizens returning from a trip abroad will be required to test for COVID-19 within 24 hours of departure. Previously, only unvaccinated travelers had to test within a day of departure, while vaccinated travelers were allowed a three-day window for testing. Now, everyone will be subjected to the same rules. Travelers who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the country must also be vaccinated to visit the U.S.

From Alpha to Omega, When/Where Will This END

“A month ago, we announced requirements that they must vaccinate travelers if entering the United States. This week, I announced an additional action to strengthen international travel rules to give us more time to stop the spread and study a new variant,” the president said during his announcement.

President Biden is also working towards requiring insurance companies to cover the cost of at-home COVID-19 tests. He’s setting up family vaccination clinics across the country with the goal of these sites making it easier for Americans to have all their vaccination needs to be met in one place — from first doses to boosters.

The current administration also announced that it would extend the federal requirement that passengers wear face masks on airplanes and all forms of public transportation. It would have expired in January but will be enforced through March 18.

Update: The CDC issued a statement advising that the Omicron variant doesn’t appear to be as severe as the strain of the Delta variant. However, the government is also warning Americans not to let their guards down, as it has detected the Omicron variant in 18 states in the U.S. and 50 countries worldwide.

CNN Indefinitely Suspends Primetime Host: Chris Cuomo. The “V” Claims Another One.

Am I My Brother's Keeper?

Yesterday CNN indefinitely suspends Chris C. Cuomo, one of their major prime-time lineup stars. The shakeup comes amid near the completion of the merger between the Discovery Channel and CNN’s parent company Time Warner Media/AT&T. On Tuesday morning Discovery’s CEO David Zaslav met with CNN’s CEO Mark Zucker, a long-time supporter of Chris Cuomo and by midday, they put Cuomo on ice.

The head honchos at CNN are claiming the reason for burning their Prime Time star is tied into Chris Cuomo’s journalistic ethics. Chris has admitted to giving legal advice to his brother Andrew Cuomo, the former Governor of New York. In a previous statement regarding Gov. Cuomo and the standard of journalistic principles, the CNN star said, “I know where the line is, I can respect it, and still be there for my family, which I must.”

Chris Cuomo comes on at 9:00 p.m. week-nights and goes head-to-head with Cable Televisions’ biggest and highest rating stars. Cable’s prime time lineup includes Rachel Maddow (MSNBC) and Fox News’ The Sean Hannity Show that follows Tucker Carlson Tonight 8:00 p.m. show — all top-rated heavy hitters. The marriage between Discovery and CNN will make David Zaslav the big dog at Time Warner Media/AT&T. Thus; the David Zaslav carnage will ultimately make Warner Media CEO Jason Kilar a victim of his house cleaning.

Zaslav will take the helm of the new combined mega-mergers, which will solidify in about mid-year 2022.

For those who drink the CNN red Kool-Aid, last night, they saw Anderson Cooper filling in for Cuomo in the 9:00 p.m. slot, which was formerly the second hour of Cooper’s gig before Cuomo took over in 2017. It was Zucker who hired Chris Cuomo away from ABC News Network — in 2013. Zucker has stood by Chris during his brother’s Gov. Cuomo’s allegedly sexcapades debacle — for as long as he could have. But with Zaslav (a new sheriff in town) forced Zucker’s hand to fire on his long-time mentee.

David Zaslav: The New (behind-the-scenes) Sheriff In Town @ CNN Calling The Shots

Yesterday CNN announced the indefinite suspension of Chris Cuomo in a statement that reads
“The documents, which we were not privy to before their public release, raise serious questions,” CNN said in a statement on Tuesday. “When Chris admitted to us he had offered advice to his brother’s staff, he broke our rules, and we acknowledged that publicly. But we also appreciated the unique position he was in and understood his need to put family first and job second. However, these documents point to a greater level of involvement in his brother’s efforts than we previously knew.”

“As a result, we have suspended Chris indefinitely, pending further evaluation.”

Kyle Rittenhausen Verdict Reveals What happens When Someone Drops Money Into The Scales of Justice.

Jury Tampering.

                                                                                                   OPINION:

A tainted Judge leads to a tainted trial leads to a tainted jury, which leads to a miscarriage of justice. Today Lady Justice removed her blindfold. She had her eyes wide open and her mindset on race and the color of Greenbacks. Judge Bruce Schroeder willfully tampered with the jury by throwing temper tantrums and getting emotionally windup as if he’s on the rag. Throughout the trial, Bruce Schroeder would clutch his imaginary pearls like a distraught well-to-do old white lady — whenever the prosecution team says something he didn’t like, and he wanted to signal the jury.

Babyface Killer Kyle Rittenhausen, Wanna-Be-Cop

Jacob Blake Recklessly challenged the Police

With over 50 years of practicing law, Schroeder still lacks judicial decorum. Only cowards take that buffoon masquerading as a judge seriously. Schroeder sits on the bench during the Rittenhouse trial sending subtle messages to the jury by supposedly admonishing the prosecutor every time he opens his mouth and deliberately says something stupid or violates “courtroom” procedures. Judge Ricky Schroder has no sense of neutrality.

On August 25, 2020, seventeen-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse went to Kenosha, Wisconsin, with a long gun looking for trouble. Soon, Rittenhouse found the problem he went looking for. As night falls and a citywide curfew (imposed by Kenosha’s lawful authorities) went into effect, Rittenhouse became restless, and he traveled to an area where a set of people were protesting the August 23 shooting of an unfortunate unarmed man, 29-year-old Jacob Blake. While the police was attempting to take Blake into custody for domestic disturbance, Blake acted recklessly and challenged the police.

The police answered the challenge of the unarmed Blake who appeared to reach for something in his vehicle, and unfortunately Jacob Blake the resistor was shot in his back four times and in his side three times by Officer Rusten Sheskey — a 26 year police veteran. That is a crime. You don’t resolve one criminal act by committing another reckless criminal act. The paranoid cop (Rusten Sheskey) was rightly released from the police force.

Take Dodge City: people are coming and going all the time, good, bad, worst. Tempers are high. A man will draw his gun quicker to prove a point than to draw on his logic. [Matt Dillion, U.S. Marshal, Gunsmoke]

If the killing of Ahmad Arbery had taken place just two months earlier, his killers would have gotten away with it scot-free. But the atmosphere in which it occurred was about to become charged up with cries for justice. Three months after they killed Arbery, another murder happened in broad daylight in Minneapolis — at the hands of four police officers. The wholesale torture and murder of George Floyd set the stage for the cover-up of Arbery’s murder to where they uncovered and rehashed it.

On a Sunday afternoon, February 23, 2020, 25-year-old Ah maud Arbery went for a jog in Satilla Shores — a predominantly white neighborhood near Brunswick in Glynn County, Georgia. Ahmad Arbery never returned home. A neighborhood gang of three radical racialists, profiled, stalked, shot, and killed him:

  • A father and son duo
  • The McMichaels
  • Greg and Travis
  • Their wannabe cop neighbor William “Roddie” Bryan

The crime that Arbery committed that led to his death sentence? Trespassing. Arbery entered an empty open building that was under construction. He looked around, then left stealing nothing of material value. Arbery may have stolen the owner’s peace of mind, and for that, he paid the ultimate price.

White Trash Attorney Laura Hogue: A Wild Savage Most Foul.

Soon after Arbery jogged away from the building under construction, the McMichaels formed a posse, and the hunt was on for him. The McMichaels gang (including Bryan) gathered their weapons, chased, and found Arbery jogging down a neighborhood street.

Using their pickup trucks, long guns, and pistol, they corralled Arbery into a fight-or-flight position. When Arbery attempted to protect himself from the McMichaels’ posse by grabbing Travis’ gun pointing at him, Travis McMichael released three bullets into his body. Ahmaud Arbery fell to the ground, where he died with no one attempting to render first aid help.

After he shot Arbery, Travis McMichael — In what appears to be some crazy backwoods ritual, Travis then daubed Arbery’s blood all over his person.

The U.S. Joins Canada and the E.U. in Banning Travel From Several Countries in Southern Africa.

Protective Measures Put In Place.

A new COVID-19 variant has emerged in the southern region of Africa, prompting President Joe Biden to restrict travel to the U.S. from eight African nations.

The ban went into effect on Monday, following advice from Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to restrict travel from South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, and Malawi.

Biden signed the order on Friday, restricting the travel of those “physically present” in the countries during the “14-day period preceding their entry, or attempted entry into the United States,” CNN reported.

The new restrictions, which will remain in place until President Biden ends them, will not affect U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents.

Quarantine In Place: Travel Restrictions

Not much is known about the new variant named Omicron, but scientists and doctors have seen enough to cause concern among officials. Not only from the U.S. but also Canada, the U.K., and the European Union, governments have also taken steps to ban travel from southern Africa.

“I’ve decided we’re going to be cautious,” President Biden said when briefing reporters about the new travel ban. “We don’t know a lot about the variant except that it is a big concern and seems to spread rapidly, and I spent about a half-hour this morning with my Covid team led by Dr. Fauci, so that was the decision; we made.”

As of Nov. 27, there was no sign that Omicron had reached the U.S., inevitably, though officials believe the variant will eventually appear. The travel ban is simply a way to buy time for scientists and public health officials to research and better understand the variant.

“You want to find out if in fact [the Omicron variant] evades the vaccines that we’re doing,” Fauci told CNN’s Brianna Keilar. “You’re prepared to do everything you need to do to protect the American public, but you want to make sure there’s a basis for doing that.”

CDC Extends Conditional Sail Order Into Next Year.

In October 2020, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) implemented a strict set of guidelines for the cruise industry known as the Conditional Sail Order (CSO). Despite cries of unfair treatment from the travel industry, joined by a lawsuit from the state of Florida, the CDC has continued to extend the order. The CDC order allows some modifications as we make progress in the fight against COVID-19.

Last week, the CDC extended the Conditional Sail Order one last time, with plans to move to a voluntary program after that. Now, the CSO will be in effect through Jan. 15. A press release made this extension in response to the spread of the delta variant of COVID-19, which is much more contagious than previous strands.

“The procedures put in place to resume passenger operations have successfully averted overwhelming onboard medical facilities and burdening shore-side hospital resources,” the CDC wrote in a statement.

The order required all cruise ships in the United States to complete simulated test cruises unless 98% of crew and 95% of passengers were fully vaccinated. The declaration is nonbinding in Florida, though this has changed multiple times throughout the state’s lawsuit case against the CDC.

When the order expires, the CDC said it plans “to transition to a voluntary program, in coordination with the cruise ship operators and other stakeholders, to assist the cruise industry in detecting, mitigating, and controlling the spread of COVID-19 onboard cruise ships.”

“This transition will continue strong measures to detect, mitigate, and control the spread of COVID, and it will align with other travel orders, including the global contract tracing and global testing orders,” the CDC added.

For now, they require cruise ships to follow a particular set of guidelines set forth by the CDC. The government agency also recommends that both cruise passengers and crew be vaccinated. In response, several cruise lines have vaccinated all of their onboard employees, with some — such as Virgin Voyages and Norwegian Cruise Line — also requiring proof of vaccination for passengers.

Delta Air Lines Is Expanding Its European Flight Service For Next Summer.

European travel began its slow return to normal this summer, with hoards of travelers, including Americans, taking advantage of cheaper than usual flights across the pond. Though summer 2022 is in the distant future, Delta Air Lines plans to meet the pent-up travel demand with expanded flight service to Europe.

The airline will add up to 73 daily flights to 25 destinations in Europe, departing from 10 cities in the United States. This expansion will increase Delta’s European summer 2022 schedule by 90% compared to this year’s operations.

On The Wings of the Friendly Skies

The additions to Delta’s service also mean that the airline will offer the most transatlantic flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Boston. That includes up to 29 daily flights to 23 European destinations, departing from New York alone.

The summer 2022 expansion will also include resuming service on several routes affected by the pandemic, like daily flights from New York to Zurich and nonstop service to Frankfurt. The airline also plans to increase the frequency of flights to major European cities such as London, Milan, Amsterdam, and Rome.

For travelers flying from Boston, they’ll find two new Delta routes launching over Memorial Day weekend: Athens and Tel Aviv.

“We’re focused on bringing back the routes and destinations our customers love. We can enjoy easy, convenient access to a comprehensive, far-reaching network throughout Europe and its neighboring regions,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s senior vice president of network planning, in a statement. “With the lifting of restrictions to the U.S. and abroad, plus growing vaccination rates and tremendous pent-up demand, travel to Europe is expected to surge next summer—and Delta customers are assured to enjoy every moment from curb to claim.”

Besides the expanded flight service to Europe, Delta will also ensure passengers get their comfort with each of its European flights offering Delta Premium Select (a premium economy cabin) and recently redesigned bathrooms.
