A federal judge in Fort Lauderdale has revoked the bail of a serious offender, Sean Kingston. The 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, and his mother, Janice Turner, were found guilty last month — March 25 — of a significant crime, wire fraud, in a federal trial in Broward County, Florida.

After a 3-hour deliberation, a federal jury found Kingston and his mother guilty. They convicted them of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud, potentially facing a significant amount of time in prison. According to CBS News, the jury found them guilty after deliberating for three hours.

You’re Only As Good As Your Last Hit

“You’re Only As Good As Your Last Hit

The quote ‘You’re Only As Good As Your Last Hit’ is often used in the music industry to emphasize the importance of consistently producing successful work. In this context, it could be interpreted as a commentary on Sean Kingston’s recent legal troubles affecting his reputation and career.”

According to authorities, the rapper, known for his sly tactics, allegedly lured his victims into a false sense of security before robbing them. It’s believed that he attempted a similar strategy in court. His mother, Janice Turner, has already begun serving her sentence since the day of her conviction.

Rolling Stone Magazine reported that Kingston posted the 100K bond and was waiting to be released, his attorneys claimed. However, as of 1600 hours on Tuesday, Kingson was still in jail, a turn of events that was unexpected and surprising.

“The judge originally ordered him back into federal custody at the Federal Detention Center in Miami to remain there until his sentencing hearing on July 11.”

You’re only as good as your last hit. And Sean Kingston’s previous hit was robbing people. Finding someone to put up bail for him might be hard. A man’s word should be his bond–not a bail bondsman.
“The feds alleged that the pair procured over $1 million worth of luxury items — including a bulletproof Escalade, a giant TV, and expensive watches — without ever paying for them.”
