On Wednesday, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi went back to Capitol Hill to answer some questions. Congress wanted answers to the perceived weaponization of the Department of Justice. (2) They seek answers to the handling of the Epstein files. And (3) They sought answers to the Justice Department’s handling of immigration enforcement.
Just a few minutes into the hearing before the House Judiciary Committee oversight hearing, sparks flew.
The Attorney General accused several U.S. House members of suffering from ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ (TDS). During the contentious hearing, Bondi reminded Representative Jamie Raskin that he was “a washed-up lawyer.”
The AG’s appearance was reminiscent of her October 2025 struggle with the same Senate Judiciary Committee.
Before Bondi arrived on the Hill, she compiled dossiers on lawmakers. She took a stance of ‘show me the Congressperson, and I’ll reveal his crimes,’ thus adding a layer of controversy to the hearing.
For example, when California Representative Zoe Lofgren displayed Trump Derangement Syndrome, Bondi clarified that she knew that Lofgren was on the take.
“How much money have you taken from Reid Hoffman?” Bondi asked Rep. Lofgren. Rep. Lofgren did not disclose the amount of money she took from Reid Hoffman.
Reid Hoffman is a co-founder of LinkedIn. Reid Hoffman is a billionaire who has been “LinkedIn” to the Jeffrey Epstein files story.
The raw and direct question shook the representative off her foundation. She later recovered and resumed her questioning of Bondi.
Once AG Bondi started talking, the look on the faces of the House Judiciary Committee’s members said one thing: ‘She’s Baaacck.’
They knew they were in for a thrashing. They knew there was a possibility that their under-the-table plots and schemes could be outed by Bondi.
Below is a partial transcript of Bondi’s conversation with some members of the House Judiciary Committee.
This guy has Trump Derangement Syndrome, Bondi shot back at Representative Raskin. She also reminded another Rep. that, “You’re a failed politician.” When Bondi tried to dodge a question, she was told, “It is not a complicated question.” It is for you because you have a law degree, and it’s a privilege.
Pam Bondi: Do you even know who Chase Moligan is? You’re so obsessed with Donald Trump, Bondi retorted. Have you apologized to Pres Trump? All of you who participated in those impeachment hearings against Donald Trump.
When REP Rasking scolded Bondi about filibustering, “I told you about that madam Attorney General.”
Pam Bondi responded, “You don’t tell me anything, you washed up! You’re not even a lawyer.”
“I find it interesting that she keeps going after President Trump, the greatest President in American history, Bondi said.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett was as muted as a church mouse. She did not want to take a chance that any of her skeletons would fall out of her closet. Rep. Jasmine is running for a U.S. Senate seat.
When the hearing concluded, they accomplished nothing. The nation was no better off than it was before the hearing.
