A Bold Move?
She’s smart. She’s wealthy. She’s articulate. And she’s Robert F. Kennedy’s presidential running mate. Ms. Shanahan paid over four million dollars for a spot on the Presidential ticket in the form of an expensive Super bowl advertisement featuring Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
During the 2024 Super bowl game, Kennedy was the only Presidential candidate to run an ad. Is Nicole Shanahan ready to be president on day one? We may find out soon.
Is Nicole Shanahan Ready to Be President On Day One?
So what if lightning strikes twice in the same place? And what if a blue moon appears four times in a leap year? There you have it: RFK, Jr. won the 2024 Presidency. During his inauguration, Kennedy passes out. He’s rushed to Walter Reed Hospital, and doctors say it will take him two months to recover.
Is Nicole Shanahan ready to take the helm and run the country?
If Joe Biden does it, then anybody can. As mentally unfit as President Biden is, he draws upon his fifty years of political experience during his lucid moments.
A Political Neophyte?
Thirty-eight-year-old Shanahan is a big donor to the Democratic party. She is running as an Independent. Ms. Shanahan has never held political office, nor has former President Donald Trump — until 2021.
For decades, Trump has proven himself a leader of several businesses. He is also a proven salesman and an extraordinary con man. Ms. Shanahan isn’t known to possess any of those Donald J. Trump traits.
This Vice Presidential run will be a great learning experience for Nicole Shanahan. It will prepare Ms. Shanahan for the next time around when she runs at the top of the ticket for President.
Both Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Nicole Shanahan were members of the Democratic party. RFK, Jr. and Shanahan became Independents after the Democratic party became a listless and rude ship. President Joe Biden refused to assign Kennedy secret service protection.
Kennedy has consistently polled between 12 and 20 percent voter preference. Joe Biden has an approval rating of 38 percent among voters. Forty-nine percent of the American voters consider themselves as Independents.
The next few months will tell if Nicole Shanahan, a Silicon Valley lawyer, will boost RFK, Jr.’s campaign among older voters. At 38, Shanahan could draw some younger voters to the campaign to vote for the 70-year-old RFK, Jr.
