The Ruth Bader Ginsberg Syndrome
Following his lackluster presidential debate on CNN, President Biden went on ABC News for an interview to salvage what’s left of his presidency. However, the interview only highlighted the lack of support for his presidency. Biden revealed that he is waiting for God to tell him to drop out of the race.
When George Stephanopoulos asked, “If you were to be convinced you could not beat Donald Trump, would you stand down?” Biden’s response was a contradiction in itself. “If the Lord Almighty comes out and tells me to (drop out of the race), I might do that,” he said. This statement, made during the 22-minute interview, was one of the few moments of clarity from the embattled President.
The feeble 81-year-old president said he was running the world. Disconnected statements like this cause people to think that President Biden is divorced from reality. Great Britain and France, among other nations, just held presidential elections. None of France’s or Great Britain’s voters voted for Biden as their Prime Minister President.
Yet Biden believes he’s running the world. Aside from “running the world,” Biden said he was campaigning. While the President is waiting for the Lord Almighty to come out and tell him to stand, the voices within his party ask him to drop out. Several big donors to the DNC are also sounding the alarm.
SCOTUS Ruth Bader Ginsburg Syndrome
The growing list of elected Democratic politicians has made it clear that Biden should leave the race for the sake of the Democratic party. They fear Biden’s poor polling numbers could spell doom for down-ballot candidates.
The belief is that Biden might damage the Democrats the same way SCOTUS Ruth Bader Ginsberg ruined the chance of getting another Democratic president to nominate a judge to America’s high court.
Vice President Kamala Harris
According to some pollsters, if Biden dropped out, Democrats would stand a better chance of winning in 2024. Vice President Kamala Harris stands a better chance of beating former President Donald Trump in a head-to-head contest for President.
However, Harris’s unfavorable ratings are worse than Biden’s. In the past, they instructed Kamala Harris to play the role of a bimbo to make Biden look smart—not that she’s brilliant. Vice President Harris’s role became a giggling, ineffective Hyena going from state to state.
