The joint venture, announced on April 12, between the U.S. and Iran follows President Trump blasting Iran for ‘WORLD EXTORTION.’
March 23, 2026, Trump jocularly said that he and the “next Ayatollah” of Iran could jointly manage the Strait of Hormuz.
It was nine days ago, on Easter Sunday, that President Trump, in a terse post on Truth Social, demanded that Iran open the Strait to commercial ships.
The militant state responded to the President’s post by saying Hell no, we won’t go.’
The U.S. and Iran’s joint blockade of the Strait of Hormuz signals a potential shift in regional stability, which could significantly impact global oil markets and international responses.
“Hell no, we won’t go.” If we can’t go through the Strait of Hormuz, no one else will, America is saying.
All world leaders want to see the Strait of Hormuz open to ship traffic. In private, other world leaders are saying, “Open the strait, you MoFo.”
“Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will begin the process of BLOCKADING any Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz,” Trump declared on Truth Social Sunday.
