It was just a matter of time before wild-eyed conspiracy theorist Dan Bongino got booted from the FBI. United States Attorney General Pam Bondi found the flaky wannabe G-man hard to work with and lacking the skill set for the FBI deputy director position. Before joining the FBI, Bongino lived in a constant heightened state of fight-or-flight.
Historically, the FBI’s deputy directors are hired from among those in control of their adrenal glands. That was not the case with dumb Bongino. The lack of his adrenal gland control leaves Bongino seeing black ghosts on every street corner and in his closets.
It’s ok to have a “good sense” of paranoia; however, Bongino’s case of paranoia posed a danger to African Americans.
His unchecked paranoia, which he claims to have, could have dangerous implications, especially for vulnerable communities like African Americans.
On Wednesday, President Trump confirmed that Dan “Bongino is heading for the exits.” The President did not say whether Bongino would go to work for the Addams Family to babysit Lurch.
The FBI’s official stance on Dan Bongino’s exit might be just another chapter in the ongoing circus, leaving us to wonder if this departure is truly about competence or just another political stunt.

“I will be leaving my position with the FBI in January,” Bongino announced on social media Wednesday night. “I want to thank President Trump, AG Bondi, and Director Patel for the opportunity to serve with purpose. Most importantly, I want to thank you, my fellow Americans, for the privilege of serving you. God bless America, and all those who defend her.”
One source said that Bongino’s co-deputy director, Andrew Bailey, who took the position in September, will assume all the traditional duties of the deputy role.
Bailey has been doing the job since September, when AG Pam Bondi realized that Bongino was flaky.
Bailey, the former Missouri attorney general (2023-2025), will fill the second-in-command role that Bongino held.
