Starting on 11-15-2022, MSNBC changed to MSNOW: National Organization for Women. This change in name reflects a significant shift in the network’s focus and political stance, aligning it more closely with the National Organization for Women and its advocacy for women’s rights and issues. Promoting advocacy for women is wonderful. Doing so at the expense of men is absolutely detrimental to the nation.
MSNBC, the chameleon-like network, is undergoing a significant shift, much like a snake shedding its skin. The once vibrant ‘news’ media network is NOW barely a shadow of what it used to be. Ever since Donald Trump won his second term, the once proud Peacock lost all of its testosterone. It’s become a limping Pea Cock—minus the pea.
Such is otherwise known as a pea-sized penis. It has become a storehouse for white women’s feminism and a capstone for Black and brown gay men. This shift is not just a change in name and tone, but a transformation that is impacting its political stance and credibility.
It’s fantastic to see professional white women appearing on Morning Crow Show dressed respectfully. There is a time and place for everything. Then here comes Mara Gay. She’s always decked out in her bedroom attire. Mara Gay doesn’t realize that she doesn’t have to go to work dressed for Zaddy’s bedroom. According to NOW, she can dress for the boardroom. Let your qualifications speak for themselves. How did she get the job at the New York Times?
If you’re Black, Get Back!
In February 2025, Rashida Jones, the first African American woman to serve as president of MSNBC, was forced to step down. While Rashida Jones may have been a DEI hire, she wasn’t a complete idiot. MSNBC replaced Ms. Jones with her understudy, Rebecca Kutler. One of the first things Rebecca Kutler did was fire Joy Reid.
Reid was the company’s only prime-time Black host.
Once, NBCUniversal chairman Mark Lazarus sent Rebecca Kutler to look over Rashida Jones’s shoulder — Jones knew her days were numbered. Kutler’s stance? If you’re Black, get back. If you’re Black and gay or Brown, stick around. And if you’re white, you’re definitely all right.
At the behest of her boss, Mark Lazarus, Ms. Kutler created a second or simultaneous work environment of fear. Anyone who reported on specific issues would be fired. All three Muslim anchors and hosts were threatened with termination.
Ali Velshi, Ayman Mohieddine, and Mehdi Hassan walked around on eggshells. In January 2024, Hassan gave MSNBC the middle finger and walked. With all the hustle and bustle and talk of firings, MSNBC only got rid of Blackie Joy Reid. They also fired Ms. Katie Phang to make room for them to leave. They canceled The Katie Phang Show.
Katie Phang, a former federal prosecutor, remained at MSNBC as a legal correspondent. Ms. Phang is ‘brown’, so she gets to stick. Phang is a capable and brilliant attorney. Amidst the whole so-called restructuring, the only host who got fired was Joy Reid. Joy Reid is Black. Get back! Whether one agrees with Reid’s left-leaning politics, she was one of the more astute individuals at MSNBC. The flailing network also gave Alex Wagner the boot from her weeknight show. Alex Wagner is a ‘brown-skin’ person. She gets to stick around.

With financial support from other Muslims, Hassan launched his own YouTube channel, Zeteo. So far, Hassan’s subscriber list has grown to over one million. And he’s pulled in “more than $3 million since its launch in April 2024.”

The front facades get top billing at MSNOW. They are the woman King, Simone Mammie Sanders; the man, Queen Jonathan Capehart; and the sweet boy, Eugene Daniels. Both Daniels and Capehart are married to white men. They get to stick around.
What message is being sent to young Black boys? If you want a job in corporate America? Marry a white male?
Black males are now taking the place of Black women who married white men for status. Of course, that is a personal choice. The long-necked chick at Fox News (Faulkner Harris) is an example. Former CNN anchor Don Lemon is also married to a white male.
The primer blueprint has been drawn. In sports, Black men dominate because the message is that that is all they are suitable for. So they don’t have any concentration in the field of academics. Sports have become a culture, a way to escape from the ghetto.
