The impulsive Senatobia cop, Hunter Foster, who killed one-year-old Kohen Wiley, has resigned from the Senatobia police Department.
“I didn’t see the baby in her lap,” police body-worn camera captured Sergeant Foster saying after recklessly shooting into a fleeing vehicle that was carrying Baby Wiley.
On June 14, 2026, at or about 2:00 p.m., Senatobia police responded to a call for assistance involving two shoplifters: Kohen Wiley, “mother” Vellesiya Wiley, and her friend Latoya Ferrell.
“I raised my baby, trying to show them that he was in the car, and right then they fired 3 or 4 shots,” Vellesiya Wiley told news reporters. History shows that caring mothers are extremely protective of their babies, even in the animal kingdom.

Some mothers will muster up the strength to pick up a car off their baby and jump in front of a moving train to save them – not hold them up as a human shield in a hostile situation. Saddam Hussein?

On Monday, October 19, 2026, Mississippi State Attorney General Lynn Fitch declined to prosecute Hunter Foster.

Fitch’s announcement came after a behind-the-scenes private deal: Foster would resign from the Senatobia Police Department as a cop in exchange for not being charged.

“After thorough investigation into this matter, there is insufficient evidence of any criminal conduct to present this matter to a grand jury, Mississippi A.G. wrote to Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell.

We are declining prosecution in this case and will close the case accordingly,” she continued.

Thank you for your assistance during this investigation.

Sincerely

Lynn Fitch.

On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, gung-ho Hunter Foster turned in his badge, city-issued gun, and his letter of resignation.

The Senatobia Police Department (known as a B-Swamp) has 26 sworn officers.

The swamp is infested with members of the Ku Klux Klan.

On September 01, the Senatobia Board of Aldermen unanimously voted to fire Senatobia Police Chief Harold Vanderford.

The Aldermen refused to accept Vanderford’s resignation letter and fired him instead.

Police Chief Harold Vanderford had recently promoted Hunter Foster to sergeant.

Vanderford termination came after the disclosure of dozens of his racist texts and racist slurs in private text messages.

Birds of a feather flock together.

Foster’s lawyer, Martin Zummach, said in an email to NBC News that Foster “resigned for the good of the city and the police department and to permit the process of healing.”

To allow the police department to heal. And what about the healing process of the “Wiley family”

Martin Zummach went on to say of Hunter Foster, “He is still shocked and sickened that a baby died and emphatically denies knowing a child was in the car.”

So, in other words, Hunter Foster started shooting wildly and blindly in public like it was the Fourth of July at a backyard barbecue or New Year’s Eve with drunken revelers.

The attorney said his client “had no idea who was in the front seat and had no idea that those fleeing were suspected of shoplifting.”

He had no idea who was in the car, yet he started shooting.

Could it have been just Grandma Sadie leaving the parking lot in a hurry?

Normally, attorneys tell their clients to stop talking.

It sounds like attorney Martin Zummach needs to stop talking on his client’s behalf.

Martin Zummach (pronounced Zoo Mack) is the same attorney who said it was a wonderful thing that the Tennessee cops beat Tire Nichols to death.

Martin Zumach comes across as someone who, as a kid, watched his grandfather and father lynch Black men in the backwoods of Mississippi.

He can’t get the lust for dead Black men out of his system.
