Music legends Neil Young and Joni Mitchell joined forces to stifle free speech and pee, pee on the United States constitution and the foot of “God.” The two Canadian musicians who found fame and fortune in America are now trying to deny Joe Rogan (a right-wing propagandist) his turn at carving out his niche on the world’s stage of gossip and innuendos. How ironic.

A Woodstock baby from the 60s, multi-talented folk singer Joni Mitchell who wrote the mind-provoking metaphysical song I look at things from “Both Sides Now,” has looked at things from a singular-minded view of left-leaning politics and cancel-culture. Mitchell, of course, is following the lead of her fellow Canadian musician Neil Young who had a brain fart and angrily pulled his music from Spotify, hoping the music/podcast streaming company would drop Rogan from its roster. It was 32 years ago Neil Young told Americans to “Keep On Rocking in the Free World” From his Album entitled “FREEDOM” to choose.

You won’t know what free speech is until it’s gone

Mitchell, of course, is following the lead of her fellow Canadian musician Neil Young who had a brain fart and angrily pulled his music from Spotify, hoping the music/podcast streaming company would drop Rogan from its roster. It was 32 years ago Neil Young told Americans to “Keep On Rocking in the Free World” From his Album entitled “FREEDOM” to choose.

Young, who is now quite an old phuck was first to pull his music from Spotify, the leading audio streaming and media services Provider — to protest Right-wing podcaster Joe Rogan for his stance on COVID Vaccination mandates. Rogan is the world’s top-rated podcaster with eleven (11) million subscribers on Spotify. Spotify commands a 31% share of the Podcast, music streaming service market, with Apple Music holding a 15% share, followed by Amazon and Tencent Music tie at 13 percent share.

Government Sometimes Sows Seeds of Confusion, and The People Reap The Fruits. Irony.

The radical leftists’ Cancel Culture solution to anyone who doesn’t walk lock-step and barrel with them is that they must be bound, silenced, thrown into a dungeon, and starved to death. You’d better think the way I think and believe what I believe. Otherwise, I will kill you. So say the great pretenders and neo-Crusaders. Basketball great Michael Jordan’s response to cancel-culture was on point: Republicans also wear Nike shoes.

When one spends their life living “like a Rhinestone Cowboy, riding out on a horse in a star-sprinkled rodeo… The Rhinestone Cowboy who gets cards and letters from people they don’t even know and offers coming over the phone.” Screech. Gradually, the adoration slows like the urine flow of a 90-year-old man with an enlarged prostate. Drip, drip, drip, drop. So the older man says, let’s jump on Joe Rogan’s back. Perhaps he can help me milk the cow.

A few decades ago, when Rock & Roll, drugs, and free sex was the order of the day, Joni Mitchell proclaimed, “Don’t it always seem to go,”
“That you don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone.” Joni Mitchell can easily plug the first amendment in place of “what you’ve got until it’s gone.” Soon, she will realize that legal-political discourse, with all the guardrails in place about yelling fire in a crowded theatre, is the cornerstone of democracy.

“But now old friends are acting strange
They shake their heads; they say I’ve changed
Well, something’s lost, but something’s gained
In living every day

I’ve looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
“It’s life’s illusions I recall
I, really, don’t know life at all.” Both Sides, Now lyrics © Crazy Crow Music / Siquomb Music Publishing.

The latest celebrity to jump on the Joe Rogan bandwagon is India Arie. Who doesn’t love some India Arie’s Brown Skin? You know I love your brown skin. I can’t tell where yours begins, I can’t tell where mine ends. Every time I let you in, abracadabra magic happens as we swim
Higher and higher finally we reach heaven
Come back to earth and then we do it all again
Yeah

The thought police are busy at work trying to suppress free speech — if allowed their march to madness — they will arrest your very thoughts.
