Most major right-wing news networks spent numerous hours looking for an idiot to make the face of the anti-war protests. They yearned for a face of ignorance in the crowd. They hoped for an “I got you a moment.” And they found their mascot in Khymani James.
Khymani James is a loud-mouthed mouth, frivolous Columbia University student. He enjoys playing dress-up. Starved for attention, James perhaps would set himself on fire just to be seen. And at the height of the anti-war movement — the 20-year-old set himself on fire.
Smart people sometimes do dumb things. That is Khymani James. A rebel without a pause. The wealthy are more than happy to destroy another young brilliant Black life.
In January 2024, Khymani posted unsavory language on social media about Zionists. While pundits and critiques of Khymani James’ rhetoric could chalk up his tirade to ignorance and youthful indiscretions — parts of his rants were just outright dumb.
A wise person once said that hurting people hurts other people. In response to the push back he’s received, Khymani explains that online anti-socials bigots called him a “f*ggot monkey.”
The online trolls, “to intimidate student protesters like me,” threatened and harassed him.
The 20-year-old feels that life has thrown him a curve ball. Therefore, he spends time seeking out causes to champion. James spends time rooting for those he believes life has thrown a curve ball.
Khymani James’ newest cause is the war in Gaza. And the tens of thousands of “innocent” people killed in raids carried out by the IDF. After his viral anti-Zionist video aired, Columbia University banned Khymani James from its campus. The flamboyant student protester would later apologize for saying, “All Zionists should be killed.” They don’t deserve to live.
“I misspoke in the heat of the moment, for which I apologized.” I also want people to have more context for my words, which I regret,” Khymani said.
Khymani James did not say who should kill the Zionists. NYPD has since purged the protesters from Columbia’s campuses.
