Angela Rye has again stirred controversy. This time, her target is Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary, whom she accused of invading her personal space by touching her hand during a conversation, sparking a heated debate. The ‘She Too’ movement, which advocates for respect of personal boundaries, is a key factor in Rye’s reaction.
It’s important to note that Abby Phillip, the Host of CNN’s New Night, is unrelated to the renowned Australian pirate Arthur Phillip.
Feeling like an old sinking pirate’s ship, CNN resorted to bringing back guests like Ms. Angela Rye and Tiffany Cross, metaphorically referred to as’ albatrosses’ and ‘ship anchors’ due to their perceived lack of value. Ms. Cross’ one-sided approach to journalism, including her combative and substanceless appearance, underscores the need for balanced perspectives in media commentary.
The “She Too” movement left her without making any money off of some poor schmuck. Angela Rye is back at it again. Rye likes to cry for special effects and sympathy. Her sense of entitlement is off the Richter scale. This time, she slammed Shark Tank host/investor Kevin O’Leary for touching her hand while conversing.

Ms. Rye Was Within Her Rights
Although Ms. Rye was within her rights to tell O’Leary that he was invading her space. However, sometimes a little tact goes a long way. Since he did not touch her arm—just his hand motion touched her hand—she could have waited until the show broke to confront him. O’Leary did the right thing and immediately apologized to Rye, saying, “It won’t happen again.”
Then he looked at Abby Phillip, his eyes saying, I didn’t know. He was embarrassed. He wanted the earth to open and swallow him up. Humiliating someone in front of millions of people unnecessarily is foolish.
Some people are touchy-feely. CNN’s Senior Commentator Scott Jennings had to yell at Bakari Sellers, “Don’t touch me,” on the “News Night With Abby Phillip” show; Sellers likes to touch Jennings.
It isn’t clear that Sellers is an Andrew Gillum in waiting. However, Scott Jennings’ presence sets his skin on fire. And that’s fine—to each his own.
After appearing on “News Night With Abby Phillip,” Republican Nancy Mace accused Professor Michael Eric Dyson of sexual harassment. Dyson and Rep Mace had taken a photo together at the show.
She fought with all the other guests and commentators. She was auditioning for a permanent guest commentator or Host as a Democratic host shill. While the Host of “Unhinged With Dr. Rashard Richey” praised Ms. Rye for her ‘bold’ stance, most sane-thinking people found her abrasiveness a put-off.
“You can pay for school but can’t buy class.”—Jay Z. Tiffany Cross had a two-year run on MSNBC. Her “Cross Connection” show got disconnected after she went on a vulgar rant on Comedy Central. The wild-out Host of “Native Land Pod” is especially fond of advocating for the castration of men.
O’Leary is known on Shark Tank as “Mister Wonderful,” a play on his character as someone with a blunt personality, Shark Tank. Cross complained that the leaders at MSNBC never took her seriously and often questioned her ‘intelligence.’
“Tiffany Cross said she faced “constant criticism” from network executives who questioned her intelligence and wanted her to be part of the anti-Trump “echo chamber.” MSNBC suddenly severed ties with Cross in November 2022, deciding not to renew her contract after two years….Jan 19, 2024.
